Welcome back sewing peoples.... we've been taking a look at patterns for outerwear over the last few days, and we are just gonna keep on doing it. Because I love these patterns, and becasue I know you want to see more!!!
Before we jump into our THREE amazing blog tour participants for today, I wanted to give a shout out to the Long Board which is today's $3 Thursday Pattern. This pattern started off as my answer to a fun a different pattern for boys that uses quilting cotton and other basic lightweight woven fabrics.... and it is so so cool for that. It easily transitions from SoCal beach comber with a hoodie and kangaroo pocket to fresh fashion gentleman with the collar and sleek fit. What I've discovered over the last few years is that it also makes the BEST Halloween costumes and fleece hoodies!!!
dancing Pikachu ;)
this year's costumes are still in progress - but getting there ;o)
I've sewn it up in fleece, sweatshirt fabric and fur....yeah, I think I'm going to be sneezing out fur particles for the rest of my life! Grab this pattern now for just $3!
All right, now to these amazing bloggers!!!
First up we have Meriel of Eli&Nels who has sewn up a gorgeous girl's Fashionista for her daughter. A little bit of vinyl later, and she has a magical piece that my daughter would steal in a heart beat (who am I kidding, I would too!!!). Head on over to her blog to check out all the details.
Last, we have Jess of Jot Designs. If you've still been on the fence about the Women's Fashionista, Jess has one more amazing make to show off just how great this pattern is. Go to her blog to read about her sewing experience with the newest pattern at Winter Wear Designs.
