HAPPY WEDNESDAY!!!!!

My kids just went back to school today after a 5 day Easter break (no this wasn't our spring break, this was just long weekend with parent teacher conferences at the end).  I love getting to spend some fun time with my kiddos, but today I feel like I'm trying to wrestle my house, work, and mind back from the chaos abyss, HA!!!!!! So all my grand plans to accomplish big things this week have been whittled down to the manageable - but that is life.

All right, today we have TWO awesome women here to share their creations for you, Laura and Patricia.

First up is Laura of Custom Made By Laura who has sewn up the most spring-sational version of the Satara Dress.  Here sleeveless polka dot creation makes me think of all the flowers just starting to burst forth here in the north east.  Her son claimed this was a princess dress, and I agree that she is channeling Princess Kate and  Princess Meghan in this classically beautiful style.  I now think that a spring Satara needs to be next on my sew list!!!  Check out Laura's Blog for all the details.

Next up is Patricia of Sew Far North who is sharing a different type of 'dress up' with us today.  Patricia took the Magnolia and used it as the base for her outfit at a local Cartoon inspired burlesque show.  I think she nailed the Flinstone's look and I just love all the sass and personality that shines though -you are FEARLESSS!!!!!  Read all about it on her blog.
