Back to School Blog Tour day 5

Here we are, back for day 5 of the Back 2 School Blog Tour.

I hope you have seen some fun things this week that are inspiring your own back to school sewing.

Here are a few things to not forget:

Let's take a look at how easily the bundles can be used to pull outfits together.

This image features the Everything But the Kitchen Sink Henley, the Sk8 Skinnies (with straight leg hack), and the Kids' Aviators - all part of the Boy's Bundle.  Layer these up with a soft and cozy Longboard made of fleece or french terry and you are ready for any season.

Everything pairs perfectly with the Phresh Jeggings, which is why they are the base of the Girl's Back to School Bundle.  You can see them above with the 2 versions of the TuTu Twirl Tunic (top left and right) and the All the Bells and Whistles Top (bottom left).  The All the Bells and Whistles is so named because it has so many options included.  While I love the collar, the simple faux henley tunic at the bottom right is such a fast sew and perfect for every season.  Layer any of these looks with the included Phresh Blazer and you have one perfect capsule!

Speaking of those Phresh Jeggings, look how perfectly they pair up with the new Fashionista Jean Jacket!!!

ok, now for the awesome creations from today's bloggers!!!!
We have Jessica of Jot Designs showing off a Hepburn Henley in gorgeous stretch velvet paired with some amazing Aviators.  Both of these patterns are a part of the Women's Back to School Bundle which is on sale for $20 for 4 patterns!  I'm crushing on this outfit and think I need to jump on the crushed velvet bandwagon!  Go check out her blog to see how she put together these easy to wear and fashionable outfits for the season.
Laurie of Make it Sew with the Bear and the Pea Atelier with an amazing Girl's Bundle collection.  She went with a rocker edge and I'm completely in love.  Check out the moto patches on the Phresh Jeggings, and that Phresh Blazer - SWOOON!!!! Seriously, go give this lady all the mad love!!!
Patricia of Sew Far North has sewn up a beautiful Cross Hem Tee.  It is so nice to have clothes that are both comfortable and stylish for the fall.
