Have you seen the Stargazer Set??? As the designer I'm totally prejudiced, but I am absolutely in love with this set. So the Stargazer set is made up of two patterns, the Stargazer Pintuck Top and Dress and the Stargazer Pleated Bubble shorts. You can buy them individually, or get extra savings by buying the set.
This is my first pattern with a size range of 9m-16. I can't promise that all my patterns going forward will include 9m, but I am so glad that I did it for this pattern, just look at these adorable squishy babies!!!
Now, I love a big poofy gathered sleeve on this pattern, it is airy and light and whimsical. There is also the great sleevless option. But what if you want the sun coverage, but the sleeve feels a bit much for you? Well, then you are going to want to check out these adorable sleeve variations that my testers had fun playing with. We'll be doing a tutorial for the button sleeve later this week, and the double gathered sleeve is going to be making it's debut in the Daydream Romper.
And those shorts... I love how they look on the little and big girls. The bubble becomes less exaggerated in the larger sizes to be more appropriate for an older girl's aesthetic.
And of course the shorts pair perfectly with the All the Bells and Whistles Top as well!
If you are a beginner, don't be scared of these patterns - they were written for all sewing levels. The details might look intimidating, but they are actually pretty simple and you will love the finished results. The shorts allow you to graduate in confidence with instructions for a faux fly and a functioning zip fly. The top introduces you to delicate pintucks and shows just how quick and easy they are. Try your hand at a placket and button holes without having to do a ton. Watch your skills improve and your friends jaws drop when they find out you MADE it!!!
