Neck Tie neck tie top new pattern new release pattern pattern sale pdf pdf pattern woman women women's Women's Pattern

Welcome back to the Fifth installment of our Neck Tie Top Blog Tour - Today is the LAST day to get this amazing pattern for the low low price of $3!!!!

We've had so much fun so far on the tour, and today we get to share the creative sewing talents of Donnisha - read on to hear all about her take on the Neck Tie Top!

Hello all.. It's Donnisha again from the very rainy Baltimore, MD. Here with another lovely fun pattern from Winter Wear Designs. The Neck Tie Top is a simple knit blouse with an offset tie neck.

This basic top has extended sizing from US sizes 00-30. There are three sleeve types. A stovepipe sleeve, a poet sleeve and a bishop sleeve. For there version I chose to go with the poet sleeve with the banded hem. I chose the banded hem since I despise hemming. I used a mystery knit from my stash. I think it's a rayon blend.

As a new release, The Neck Tie Top it is on sale now  October 7 -13 for $3.

My favorite take aways from this pattern are the vast variety of fabric options, the large size range, the sleeve options and the ease of making adjustments. As a pear shape, my hips are wider than my upper half so I started at an eight and graded out to a twelve. Not that I'm complaining. I was a size zero for years and now I'm never giving back these hips. Lol. I already have my next make planned in a gorgeous red dbp, that will be perfect the approaching holidays. I am also thinking of extending the pattern down to tunic length and matching with a nice pair of knee boots.

Thanks for reading and have fun sewing up your own version of the Neck Tie Top.

I love this colour and shape on you. I’m chuckling about the hips comment too. As a life long hour glass now heading the pear way, I’m with you. Work those curves!
