The Bateau Garden Dress is one that has such classic elegance. An easy to wear dress for those events when you just need to be a bit dressy or maybe a lot dressy. You can use special occasion fabrics or a simple poly cotton covered with lace accents like me. It is an easy sew and I love the fullness of the skirt along with the boat neck and the subtle surprising deep back. If you have a special event to attend this year, consider making this dress. It does have a zipper in the side seam but the instructions make it easy to insert.
