Back 2 School Blog Tour Day 2

Welcome back dear readers and fellow stitchers.  Today is day 2 of the Back 2 School Blog Tour and do we have some fun for you today.  If you missed it, check out Day 1's post HERE where I show off some killer Perfect Panel Tees and show my foray into the Phresh Jeggings in French Terry.  Both of these patterns are just $5 in celebration of my kiddos going back to school!

------------------------------

Rachel of Violets and Jewels is killing it on the Back 2 School front this year.  She has sewn up complete outfits for both of  her girls that just make me smile.  Rachel used the Back 2 School Bundle for girls to make these outfits and I just love seeing it all come together.  The Back to School Bundles are always a great deal, but this week only you can grab the bundle of 4 patterns for just $20!!!  Go Check out the blog to see and read about all the details of these looks!

----------------------------

When it comes to Back 2 School sewing, I am always looking for pieces that can mix and match so that no matter what the kids grab, it all somewhat goes together.  My girl loves to wear twirly skirts, but if she can't find shorties that 'match' she wont have any of it.  So it has been on my mind for a while to create some skorts for her to make selection and getting dressed easier - becasue I swear my washing machine eats socks and shorties!!!   If you are falling in love with this circle skort with POCKETS, watch for a testing call coming up soon - the gazillion options I've got coming in this must have pattern will make your head spin!!!

Paired with this circle skort, I have a tank hack of the EBTKS Henley.  I simply took the band lengths from the coquette for this quick and easy hack.  I added this fun 'One Smart Cookie' design to pull the outfit together without making it a top that could only be worn with this skirt.  She'll be able to pair this tank with her new Phesh Jeggings from yesterday along with any of the other bottoms in her drawer.

And then we need the perfect layering piece.  We live in a climate that can be mid 50's in the morning and mid 80's by the time the kids get off the bus, so simple jackets and sweaters that go with everything are a must.  This is the Fashionista Jean Jacket and it will be coming this week for you to sew one up for your own kiddos!
