For this blog tour I went to my fast and easy, tried and true, yes there are already 10 of these in my closet... Magnolia. HA! This is my most sewn and most hacked pattern because it just works for everything.

To take a new spin on the Magnolia, I went looking for some inspiration. I found a dress with an inverted high low - high at the sides and low in the front and back. I loved the fresh and flirty look and knew the magnolia was the perfect pattern to get this look.

If you want to make your own, keep the below knee length in the front and back. and then raise your side seam up about 12 inches (you can do more for a more dramatic high low hem, but this was perfect for me.) Use a french curve to draw your curve and that is it - make sure that you replicate this hem on both the front and the back pieces. Cut and sew like normal!!!!
